Masif IMS
Baia Mare, Maramureş, Romania
Rapidly mastered new tools and technologies, including CNC programming and operation, to establish and streamline the production workflow for a newly founded custom furniture manufacturing firm. Gained proficiency in Polyboard (furniture design software) and Optinest (optimization software), integrating them effectively to improve efficiency and accuracy. Adapted quickly to a high-responsibility role, learning new skills daily to overcome challenges and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Designed custom furniture based on client needs, providing clear pricing, professional renders, and ensuring client satisfaction. Actively coordinated production floor activities, leading employees and optimizing processes for smooth operations. Delivered and assembled finished furniture, ensuring customer expectations were exceeded. This experience showcased my ability to learn quickly, adapt to unknown situations, and successfully manage challenges in a fast-paced environment.

3D Design Engineer (Project-based)
Danibrum România
Comăneşti, Bacău, Romania
Designed a 3D technical model of a CNC tool adapter in Fusion 360 to enable horizontal cutting operations on a conventional CNC machine. Developed a system allowing 360-degree rotation using a servo motor, addressing specific operational needs. Collaborated closely with CNC field technicians to understand practical requirements and technical constraints. Delivered a precise 3D model that served as the foundation for a prototype, which was further iterated in collaboration with suppliers. Gained valuable experience in industrial design and cross-functional teamwork.

Automated Pill Sorting System | Bachelor's Thesis – Electrical Engineering
Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania
Automated Pill Sorting System | Bachelor's Thesis – Electrical Engineering For my bachelor's project, I developed an automated pill sorting system designed to improve efficiency and accuracy in pharmaceutical sorting applications. The system consists of a conveyor belt that transports pills to a camera-based recognition unit. Using image processing software, the system compares each pill against a database to determine its type. Based on this classification, the system sends a command to one of three mechanical sorting groups. Each sorting group features a stepper motor-driven paddle capable of rotating clockwise or counterclockwise, guiding pills to the left or right of the conveyor. With this mechanism, the system can efficiently sort six different types of pills, while unrecognized or defective pills are discarded at the conveyor’s end. Key Technologies & Components: Image processing for pill recognition Stepper motor-controlled mechanical sorting Automated conveyor belt system This project allowed me to apply my electrical engineering, automation, and software development skills in a practical and impactful way. Excited to bring this expertise into real-world applications!

Knock pattern switch for kitchen countertop LED
Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania
In 2018, I developed a system that allowed users to control a kitchen countertop LED light with a specific knock pattern. The project utilised a piezoelectric sensor mounted beneath the countertop to capture the knock, while a compact Arduino board processed the analog input. By analysing the knock sequence, the system could accurately determine when to activate or deactivate the LED strip through a relay, offering an intuitive and engaging user interface.

Smart Parking Assistance System (Personal Project)
Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania
During my first year as an Electrical Engineering student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, I developed a Smart Parking Assistance System designed to optimize tight parking and garage spaces. This simple yet effective system helps drivers park their vehicles precisely, maximizing available space while preventing unnecessary adjustments. The system consists of: Ultrasonic distance sensor to measure the vehicle's position as it enters the parking space. LED indicator panel that provides real-time visual feedback, signaling whether the car is too far, too close, or in the correct spot. Arduino-based signal processing that converts analog sensor inputs into clear, actionable LED outputs for the driver. This project enhanced my skills in sensor integration, embedded systems, signal processing, and microcontroller programming, while also reinforcing my passion for developing practical engineering solutions.
