Working as part of an entertainment franchise, I have gained valuable experience in all departments, including Box Office, Concessions, Bar and Ushering. As part of the team, I help to provide a high standard of customer service at all times. Recently I underwent supervisor training, this allowed me to gain new skills as well as developing the ones I already have; being put into a position of responsibility, decision making and gaining access to the inner workings of the cinema (i.e. sales figures, marketing, ATV & SPP). I have also helped organise social events for colleagues, set up and monitor a social networking page for staff to communicate and am part of a marketing team for alternative content screenings.

I worked at Deans of Huntly, the shortbread factory, for a short period of time to save funds for going to university. Working in a fast-paced environment as part of an assembly line I had to use good communication skills to stay organised and also to keep myself and others motivated. I had a number of responsibilities which included maintaining health and safety and hygiene standards as well as ensuring company procedures were adhered to at all times.
