I work within the Buildings & Architecture division, which manages the planning, design, and construction of capital projects involving vertical infrastructure such as libraries, fire stations, recreation centres, and more. As a Capital Development Project Manager, my focus is on delivering safe, innovative, sustainable, and accessible public buildings that serve Calgarians now and into the future.

Canada Fluorspar mine refurbishment project aims for the operational restart and expansion of one of the largest fluorspar mines in North America. Located in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland and Labrador, this project focused on increasing the production of fluorspar, a critical mineral used in industries such as aluminum, chemical manufacturing, and refrigerants. Scott Steel primarily focused on upgrading infrastructure and facilities to restart fluorspar production. As the Project Coordinator for Scott Steel, I currently support project management, scheduling, project control, and both contract and change management.

The Blackwater Gold Project, situated in central British Columbia, boasts an impressive resource base of over 10 million ounces of gold. Having secured Environmental Assessment approval, it holds the promise of evolving into one of Canada's largest gold mining operations, with operational costs that position it in the lower quartile among global producers. Scott Steel is involved in supplying and erecting quality building packages. I was engaged with the project management team, closely interfacing with various departments such as Construction, Project Controls, and Quality Control teams.

Managed 5 clients and their projects in different cities with a combined total asset worth USD 6-7 million. To achieve this, I built a team of qualified engineers, surveyors, architects, and accountants. The company's total revenue generated during this time was over USD 300,000. Under my leadership, the company successfully helped clients turn their concepts into reality, we delivered projects under budget, and within the schedule.

I was actively involved in performing basic civil design, conducting engineering activities in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, and managing the project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closeout.

The Project was in the planning phase when I joined the company. I served as the Senior Project Engineer representing the client at the site and design offices and was actively involved in carrying out civil engineering design, achieving project milestones, and compliance with the codes, standards, and regulations. Managed construction of a commercial resort with 60 rooms, a 3-story banquet hall, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and a spa. The method of construction was steel structure and cast in situ concrete. The project budget was USD 2 million, and the project deadline was 24 months.

I served as the Civil/ Project Engineer at the site and managed task sequencing and delivery of milestones. I got involved in several engineering activities such as: Validating site works against the produced GFCs, quality inspection, and managing the project life cycle - Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closeout. Managed fast-track construction of commercial office space ( Wells Fargo BTS and Embassy 7B). The primary goal was to coordinate design and construction to deliver a 10-story building with two underground basements and 13- story multi-level car park. The method of construction was Precast concrete. The project budget was USD 50 Million, and 24 months for handover. The Project was awarded LEED Platinum.

Worked as a junior financial analyst that involved familiarization to the financial department and its operations and gathering, analyzing and managing business requirements which includes marketing, supply chain management and stakeholders reporting.

Assisted with Technical insights on counter measure construction against landslides. Involved myslef as an intern in Cost estimations and project management.
