Sanah Ali

The National Strategy Consulting Competition & Conference is the largest consulting competition in North America. As Vice President of Logistics, Sanah was accountable for the end-to-end operation of the conference. Her responsibilities included identifying prospects and negotiating contracts for all conference venues, developing detailed itineraries for each delegate and firm representative, organizing and leading the execution of pre-conference workshops and events, and serving as a beacon of support and point of contact for all delegates and executives during the conference.

As a Customer Service Representative, Sanah was responsible for processing financial transactions, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and providing financial advice regarding client accounts and TD products and services. During her time at TD, she exceeded her up-selling targets while maintaining a high customer satisfaction rate. Additionally, Sanah was responsible for designing a new marketing campaign to promote rewards for new account holders.

As a Research Analyst at the University of British Columbia, Sanah worked on a team of five students to identify factors which adversely impact undergraduate students' academic experiences. Her responsibilities included conducting 18 student and faculty focus group sessions, cross-analyzing and integrating findings to identify areas of improvement in UBC course structures and teaching methods, and presenting results to a panel of research assistants and project managers. To date, this project has influenced positive changes in many UBC Arts and Science courses, and recently secured an additional $80,000 grant for further research.
