As an Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) Engineer, I worked on a variety of engineering projects within the industrial and petrochemical sector. During my first two years, I completed an ICS traineeship through Dosign, where I developed a strong foundation in instrumentation, control systems, and engineering project workflows. I was mainly involved in smaller projects, which gave me the opportunity to experience different phases of the project lifecycle and understand how engineering projects are executed from concept to implementation. This allowed me to take on a broad range of technical and coordination tasks. I also regularly worked on-site at industrial facilities such as Gunvor Group, Huntsman Corporation, Shell plc, and Chemours. During these visits, I gained practical insight into plant operations, instrumentation setups, and control system infrastructure. I performed field checks to verify whether P&IDs matched the actual installations and visited DCS cabinets for observation and system understanding. Key responsibilities: - Updating and maintaining I/O lists and instrumentation documentation - Revising and updating P&IDs and verifying them with on-site installations - Performing site checks and field verification at industrial plants - Observing DCS cabinets and control system infrastructure - Updating client engineering databases and technical documentation - Preparing engineering hour estimates based on project scope - Maintaining communication with clients and equipment suppliers - Working closely with other engineering disciplines during project execution Alongside my project work, I followed several technical and professional training programs to further develop my skills and progress towards a Lead ICS Engineer role.

At Veluvine, I worked on a wide range of tasks focused on improving and developing road paint and thermoplast products. My main goal was to enhance the durability and quality of existing products while contributing to new product formulations. I carried out experiments in both the lab and the field, including pilot tests, lab testing of viscosity, elasticity, and other material properties, as well as on-road testing to assess performance and durability under real conditions. I also participated in product certification in Germany and represented the company at industry events like Intertraffic, engaging with clients and stakeholders. In addition to technical work, I took on significant responsibilities for laboratory management. I initiated and led a lab renovation, reviewed and optimized workflows, and ensured quality and safety standards were maintained. My role spanned from small-scale lab experiments to large-scale production tests and fieldwork, giving me a complete understanding of the product lifecycle. During my graduate internship at Evides Industriewater, I worked on identifying the Total Inorganic Carbon (TIC) that passes through reverse osmosis systems. The goal was to understand the process and improve water treatment efficiency. I gained hands-on experience both in the lab and on-site, working closely with operations teams. What I did: - Investigated two demineralization plants and their performance - Took field samples and performed on-site checks to verify processes - Conducted pH measurements and related calculations in the lab - Processed and analyzed water sample results - Evaluated software tools for data handling and analysis - Collaborated directly with operations teams to discuss results and process improvements This internship gave me practical insight into water treatment processes, combining lab work, fieldwork, and direct collaboration with operations while strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project Leader The goal of the project was to optimize a reaction to produce bio-based aromatics. A factorial design was carried out to determine the optimal reaction time, catalyst concentration and reagent concentrations

The main goal of the internship at Jacobs was make a technical guideline for the design of purified water, boiler feed water, steam and condensate systems. The technical guideline is a manual about the steam system, it includes the main factors that are required to design a steam system with steam traps as specialism.
