General surgery, Orthopedic surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Obstetrics and Gynecology) Duties & Responsibilities: • Organized sterile drapes and prepared sterile fluids and monitored machines. • Ensured that all tools are laid out appropriately before procedures. • Assisted and provided sterile equipment to the surgeons throughout the surgery. • Conducted preoperative interviews and checkups (Time Out). • Monitor the patient’s condition during surgery and alert the doctor to any kind of change. • Applied dressing to the surgical site and educated the patient/ family how to take care of the surgical site properly. • Supervise junior nursing staff and tech them the principles of scrub nurse. Infection Control Prevention Officer Duties & Responsibilities: • Performed daily infection control rounds in all hospital departments. • Collected device days and patients’ days. • Oversee waste management in all departments. • Observed hand hygiene. • Developed and maintained educational files and teaching materials on infection control. • Provided consultation, education for infection control and prevention issues.

• Perform initial evaluations of symptoms • Assist doctors with diagnostic and treatment procedures (cystoscopy, uroflowmetry,etc) • Provide expert patient education and counseling services. • Provide checkups and care for certain common conditions (changing Foley and suprapubic catheters) • Check vital signs, record information about symptoms, and perform a basic physical examination. • Relay findings to a urologist and help determine the most appropriate tests to perform or medications to provide. • Help the patient understand the reasons for different tests and what the results mean. • Explains the importance of proper hygiene and following the doctor's orders to prevent recurring problems.

• Responsible for discharge planning of patients • Facilitate discharge consistent with hospital policies and procedures • Coordination with all hospital departments (i.e., pharmacy, physicians, nursing & finance) • Monitor discharge process and assuring timely discharge of hospital patients • Distribute satisfaction survey & monitor follow-up process after discharge • Responsible for process improvement with various departments
