About
PROVEN SCALE, COMMUNITY ROOTS I was born in a Nigerian slum. Today, I lead one of Nigeria's fastest-growing community-based organizations delivering humanitarian impact at scale. Since founding Save The Slum Initiative in 2016, we've reached 1.8 million people across 16 Nigerian states with community-led WASH, GBV prevention, TB engagement, disability inclusion, and health programming. SCALE + LOCAL TRUST: → 200,000+ people served through EDP climate resilience project → 10,000 IDPs reached with WASH/nutrition in Northeast Nigeria → 5,000+ residents accessing solar-powered water systems → 200+ trained GBV peer educators active in slum communities → 50,000+ reached with FGM eradication programming (Kaduna) WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT: We deliver INGO-scale impact with local legitimacy. Our team includes community mobilizers who live in the slums we serve. We co-design programs with community leaders, women's groups, and people with disabilities who are usually excluded. PROVEN PARTNERSHIP TRACK RECORD: ✓ UNICEF Nigeria (FGM eradication, Kaduna State) ✓ UNFPA (GBV prevention & response) ✓ EDP (200,000+ beneficiaries, climate resilience) ✓ Malteser International (consortium partner) ✓ FHI360 (humanitarian health interventions) 100% donor compliance record. On-time reporting. Zero financial irregularities. CURRENT PRIORITIES: • Expanding Education Outcomes in Lagos (10,000+ OOSC) • Scaling solar WASH systems across Nigeria • Scaling Health and Nutrition Interventions across Nigeria • Building AI-powered tools for African NGO funding access 📧 samueladeyinka@savetheslum.org.ng 🌐 www.savetheslum.org.ng Ready to discuss consortium partnerships, technical implementation, and community-led monitoring for your Nigeria programs.
