Coordinated the regional WASH and Nutrition activities for STSI, within Northeast Nigeria, across 3 different types of WASH program, responding to needs of roughly 10,000 internally displaced persons. Responsible for activity management, technical support and guidance in the field, and coordination of the broader program management activities, such as budget management, reporting, monthly donor and end of program report, capacity building. Established STSI’s presence in the first phase of a response in a rural area, with remote supervision and successfully delivered outputs of the program, in accordance with budget and expected outputs in the timeframe. Monitoring and evaluation, including KAP survey and analysis, formative assessments and qualitative data gathering and analysis leading to better program implementation.

Cholera response to 2021 cholera epidemic - set up and initial deployment period of 3 months. Mobilised resources and executed the delivery of emergency supply of potable water to affected communities and cholera treatment camps. In partnership with WASH SECTOR supported emergency sanitation infrastructure in cholera treatment camps. In partnership with community health workers delivered mass campaigns and hygiene promotion. My role was to coordinate the full response, manage WASH team and coordinate with local partners to deliver objectives – including water, sanitation and hygiene. I participated in WASH cluster taskforce meetings when required.

Youth Pre-STC Consultation: West Africa Regional Consultation. Specialized Technical Committees (STCs) are thematic Committees answerable to the Executive Council. They are composed of Member States’ ministers and senior officials. The purpose of the STCs is to work in close collaboration with AUC departments to ensure the harmonization of AU projects and programmes and coordination with the Regional Economic Communities (RECs). The STC’s functions include considering progress on: implementing key sectoral policies and programs. The STC YCS is composed of 3 sectors: Youth Culture and sports.
