Experience

Research Project
Department of Neurology
Studying novel disease mechanisms and biomarkers of brain tumours and pre-clinical drug development strategies for Glioblastoma, using system neuroscience approaches and molecular biology techniques. At the Zurich Brain Tumor Center, Zurich University Hospital, Prof. Dr. Michael Weller and PD. Dr. Hans-Georg Wirsching lab.

Research Project
Basel, Basel, Switzerland
Studying sensory abnormalities in rodent models for Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), using invasive and non-invasive electrophysiological recordings, molecular biology techniques, and machine learning tools. At the Neuroscience and Rare Diseases Research Department in Roche Innovation Center Basel

Research Project
Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology
Studying the role of the axon-carrying dendrites (AcDs) cells in the Hippocampus, using the new V4 Miniscope (1P) and different learning tasks in mice. At the Department of Neuro- and Sensory Physiology, Heidelberg Brain Oscillations lab, Prof. Dr. Andreas Draguhn, and PD. Dr. Martin Both Lab

Research Project
MPI-MR & Institute for Anatomy and Cell Biology of Heidelberg University
Studying biochemical calcium depended sensors in Astrocytes/Neurons using pharmacological tests and advanced cell microscopy. At the Neuron-Glia lab, part of the Anatomy and Cell Biology institute of Heidelberg University, Dr. Amit Agarwal Lab and at the chemical biology department of the MPI-MR in Heidelberg, Prof. Dr. Kai Johnson and Dr. Julien Hiblot Lab

Research Project
Institute of Pharmacology
Studying the role of the Basal forebrain Cholinergic afferent using optogenetics (ChR) activation in the Prelimbic cortex neurons in attention process in healthy and in inflammatory pain (CFA) mouse model. Followed by several behavioural tests, immunostaining and confocal laser microscopy imaging analysis. At the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Prof. Dr. Rohini Kuner Lab

Research Assistant
Institute of Pharmacology
Working on the role of the brain in nociception and pain and the underlying circuitry in mice, helping Postdocs and PhD students on the ongoing research projects. At the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Prof. Dr. Rohini Kuner Lab, part of the Molecular Medicine Partnership Unit at EMBL.

Research Project
Institute of Biological and Chemical Systems
Studying the molecular genetics of the nervous system, muscle development, and using CRISPR-Cas-based gene editing in Zebrafish. At the Institute of Biological and Chemical Systems (IBCS) & the European Zebrafish Resource Center (EZRC), Prof. Dr. Uwe Strähle Lab
