Shift Technician for a Conventional Data Centre working with Chillers, CRAH Units, Vertiv UPS Units & LV EPOD Power Supplies for Lateral Power Distribution to each Sub-Main LV Panel Boards. General day to day running of a continental shifts pattern via a two person set-up team within a Tier 3 Data Centre. Monitoring and managing all power and cooling systems - providing ppm's and annual maintenance works within the companies SLA requirements for all clients.

Installation, maintenance & repairs of electrical systems within various data centres across the UK & Europe. • Installations include: main supplies. containment (basket, conduit, trunking, panduit & comscope fibre ducting), data racks, busbar, PDU/RPP, lightning, power & sub-mains cabling from switch rooms. • Installed, terminated, tested & labelled power supplies throughout data centres. • Remedial works. • Responsible for ensuring a permit to work is in place on a daily basis prior to works commencing. • Making sure all works are carried out in accordance with IET regulations & guidance. • Carry out regular checks to ensure that good working practices are being maintained & appropriate PPE is being used. Any faults found during these checks, work is stopped whilst the issues are resolved & reported to avoid accidents onsite. • Mentoring & training an apprentice onsite. • Liaise with clients over the availability of the services & facilities. • Worked alongside testers performing LOTO before commencing work on services.

• Domestic and commercial installations. • Electrical installation. • Installation of BMS cabling and panels to various specifications including chillers, generators and FCU's. • Liaised with principal contractors onsite.

• Accountable for communications installation, whilst ensuring that all tasks were completed both to a high standard and on time before handing over to an engineer prior to going 'on air'. • Wiring experience includes: reading schematic and layout drawings

•Assisted senior engineers with full servicing and maintenance of air conditioning units. •Carried our planned maintenance and servicing schedules for standby generators, along with inspections before handing over to the client. •Experienced working abroad and the approach to local working practices and cultures
