The ARIN fellowship is a program that mentors, trains, and equips young professionals from Africa with technical skills in various research fields including energy and climate change, with senior researchers providing guidance during weekly Friday reviews on best research practices.

Supporting Africa's energy transition through data-driven insights targeting investors, policymakers, and governments.

Led global data collection on appliance access and developed models to estimate market sizes for productive use of energy (PUE) appliances in Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria, and India. Co-authored several reports, including the "Net Zero Heroes" report, which was presented at COP28.

Prepared learning materials, delivered lectures, conducted research, and oversaw the entire examination process, from setting and invigilating to grading assignments.

Supervised and coordinated the successful training of clerks, voting, counting, tallying and transmission of the election results in a fairly and transparent manner.

Assisted in designing and drawing mechanical building services, such as plumbing and drainage, solar water heating, firefighting, and air conditioning, while also supervising and preparing project reports.

Read and interpreted diagrams, sketches, and specifications before performing installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC units. Assisted in preparing material lists, job records, and maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools for assigned projects.

Conducted vehicle assessments, prepared technical reports, and suggested corrective maintenance measures and recommendations.

Worked in troubleshooting vehicle malfunctions and performing repairs and maintenance as advised. Additionally, performed routine maintenance checks and prepared work orders and job cards.
