Execute all responsibilities and duties associated with the role of an Infusion Pharmacist, encompassing both acute & chronic therapies. Ensure compliance with USP <797> standards by maintaining cleanroom testing and documentation. Oversee employee competency assessments, including media fills, glove fingertip testing, surface sampling, and air sampling documentation. Assume the role of Interim Pharmacist-In-Charge, overseeing all associated duties, reporting requirements, and the implementation of companywide initiatives and projects. Undertake Pharmacist-In-Charge responsibilities for multiple states, including performance improvement, regulatory body inspections and corrective actions/remediations.

Performed all duties and responsibilities as an Infusion Pharmacist including counseling, typing, verifying as well as document individualized Care Plans throughout patient therapy. Verify labs related to patient care and recommend interventions based on patient's progress during therapy. Co-headed committee and created policies and procedures to acquire ACHC Pharmacy Accreditation. Lead Pharmacist involved in cleanroom maintenance, policies, and maintenance of all cleanroom procedures, disinfecting processes, and compounding techniques. Piloted Quality Assurance division and outlying testing procedures that comply with USP <71> regulations as well as all 3rd party quality testing of finished products.

Ensure that all procedures, records, and pharmacy cleanroom facility are in compliance with all state, federal, and industry standard requirements Prepare weekly production scheduling of product and continually makes changes as need to accommodate the weekly peaks and troughs in workload Develop a system for any bulk compounding or batch preparation of drugs Ensure all staff are following USP <797> and cGMP guidelines that meet FDA/Board of Pharmacy standards for Texas and other states.

A DMAT is a group of professional and para-professional medical personnel (supported by a cadre of logistical and administrative staff) designed to provide medical care during a disaster or other event. NDMS recruits personnel for specific vacancies, plans for training opportunities, and coordinates the deployment of the teams. DMATs are designed to be a rapid-response element to supplement local medical care until other Federal or contract resources can be mobilized, or the situation is resolved.

Main duties include the correct storage, distribution and record keeping of medications, support and help other members of staff to make recommendations on changes regarding the administration of medicines or with regard to the organization itself. Job also have to do with knowing, meeting and suggesting innovations to the institution’s quality assurance policies.

Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate, maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs, answering telephones, responding to questions or requests, filling bottles with prescribed medications and type and affix labels, assisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information, and lastly annual inventory counts as well as completing proper federal documents in the maintenance of a pharmacy.
