Taught over 200 middle and high-school students in the art of rhetorical communication. This included lesson planning, scheduling daily activities and coordinating practices.

* Directed the largest high school speech and debate tournament in the United States hosting 2,000 students, judges and coaches from across the country. * Coordinated tournament schedules and managed payment role out for over 150 judges. * Supervised a budget of over $10,000 to operate the tournament.

Worked at a non-profit partner organization (National Taxpayers Union Foundation) and spent every Tuesday at the Charles Koch Institute engaging in reading discussions, group projects, lectures, and Market-Based Management® workshops.

* Published 7 blogs on federal spending and taxes on NTUF’s website. * Analyzed BillTally data to create press releases for all 50 states and the District of Columbia informing established reporters of the spending and savings legislation proposed by their respective Congressional delegates. * Spread NTUF’s research to the media, Capitol Hill and taxpayers by creating graphics using Photoshop, Indesign and Seashore for Twitter, Facebook and other means of social media. * Experienced using Convio Luminate (CMS) to maintain and update the NTUF website. * Attended weekly seminar consisting of workshops, reading discussions, speakers and a group of projects designed to equip participants with management tools.

* Collected and analyzed data for Tax Foundation projects, such as the International Tax Competitiveness Index (ITCI) and "Putting a Face on America’s Tax Returns: A Chart Book." * Wrote and updated academic publications on tax policy, such as “A Comparison of the Tax Burden on Labor in the OECD” and “A Comparison of the Top Marginal Income Tax Across the US and OECD.” * Built media lists, established contacts with leading reporters on relevant tax policies, and promoted Tax Foundation publications through media monitoring systems such as Meltwater and Trendkite. * Published blogs on federal and state tax policy.
