Bonjour et bienvenue! In 2024, I founded Athletik Tween after my daughters and I grew frustrated at the gaping hole that exists in the tween activewear and athleisurewear fashion market here in Australia. My two girls were smack bang in that super-tricky in-between phase of no-longer-a-child, not-yet-an-adult, where age-appropriate designs - meets - high-quality activewear was nowhere to be found every time we hit the shops. So, to cater to the specific and very important needs of 8-14 year old girls, just like my daughters, I decided that I would design exactly what they needed. Our designs factor in: comfort and durability for active, busy tweens Stylish cuts that are age-appropriate Eco-friendly materials that are kind to tween skin and our environment Small-batch collections to support individuality, freedom of expression and diversity and inclusion At such a pivotal time of growth, we want tweens to feel seen in the activewear fashion landscape and we aim to build a legacy that empowers young women to take bold steps to be themselves, feel confident in who they are, and feel free to be totally themselves.
