Urbano Apparel Co. was born out of an idea that the best visual expressions are made in the form of wearable items for everyday people. Consult with the Sales Engineers, Project Managers and customers to determine the appropriate network configuration settings. Configure all pre-existing gear to integrate with the newly deployed Cisco based routers, switches, wireless and firewalls to provide the customer with a complete Network Solution according to ADP standards. Work remotely with Field Service engineers to deploy new equipment, remove old equipment and to integrate with existing equipment. Test connectivity for OEM, DMS, Printing, LAN to LAN, VPN and WAN connectivity. Test failover solutions and design when applicable. Document install configs and post them to a repository. Update the Wiki/Sharepoint with the appropriate info for successful installs pertaining to each product. Attend discovery calls and other teleconferences as Subject Matter Expert when necessary. Develop custom product solutions for unique customer needs. Collaborate with engineering team to solve customer network issues.

As owner, I manage the day to day activities of the business, all the accounting, marketing, sales, maintenance of the business web site and social network sites. As a photographer, I typically do on location assignments such as weddings, engagements, seniors and families. From time to time I work in a studio. I specialize in weddings, engagements, proposals. I also shoot families, children, glamour/modeling, special events and just about anything you want professional quality photos of. I also handle all the touching up of photos and artwork using Adobe's Creative Suite software products.

Provide technical support to customers over the phone with but not limited to dial up, cable modem, DSL and wireless internet. Also with email, web hosting and front end data T1 services. Also use retention efforts to maintain customer base. Create trouble tickets to dispatch area technicians to on-site locations to fix issues that cannot be fixed over the phone. Follow up on customer issues as needed by phone or email resulting in a one-time call resolution. Multi-tasking of programs on the computer and/or working with other departments/persons to do daily job functions. Provide on call technical services working from home via VPN with a laptop, cell phone and pager. Installing programs, dial up modems and network cards for customers. Also responsible for running scripting with UNIX to make changes to the SQL database and dial up server. Access and use of Sling player to check on channels off head ends in coverage areas. Point of contact on weekends. Monitoring of company network via video wall with SNMPc Management Console, EMS, What’s Up Gold and CMTS.
