Assistant of various computer engineering courses including Introduction to Computer Engineering Concepts, C Programming, Data Structures (with C++), Data Management and File Structures, Knowledge Engineering and Computational Linguistics. Academic supervision of the research project – "Ontology Based Video Annotation and Querying Engine"– funded by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey for two years. Prepared the project proposal and participated in the design of the system composed of the subsystems for annotation, reasoning, indexing and searching the video information. Technical Infrastructure of "Ontology Based Video Annotation and Querying Engine": Java, C++, OpenCV, Apache Nutch, Lucene, OWL DL (ontology language), Pellet (OWL DL Reasoner for Java), Protege (ontology editor), Jena (semantic web framework for Java), Red5 (media streaming server). Prepared the proposal of semantic video search engine project for European Commission (EC) 7th Framework Program (FP7). The project proposed to EC passed the criterion, listed on top 20 but could not be funded. The project idea and proposal won the award of Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey for EC 7th Framework Program. Member of the organization committee of International Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences (ISCIS 2007).

J2EE application developer. Participated in Azerbaijan Tax Ministry Tax Automation Project, developed the personal account system for taxpayers using J2EE and Oracle DBMS.
