UX & Visual Designer

Using design systems, UX strategy, and best AI practices to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and design the suite of products that support Pearson's lines of business. These tools are designed to improve efficiency and ease-of-use for educators and users for all of their content creation, authoring, and organizational needs. I work with Figma and the Adobe Suite to improve and enhance visual design and the user experience of the tools to improve effiency and product usage among stakeholders. By maintaining and enhancing the design component library, I am able to implement those elements into our tools to align them to legacy products and create a cohesive experience across the tool suite.

Associate UX Designer
Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
I work closely with the project manager to design and deliver wireframes/prototypes of "stories" to the development team, to be passed on to the client delivery team to promote the Insight Center's products and methods to accelerate business and solve complex business problems with the use of data analytics and visualization. I utilize UX/UI practices to help map out complex stories and speak to stakeholders and solution owners to have a better understanding of the product delivery and impact on the client experience. I've assisted in the development and design of 5 main stories told in the Insights Center.

Junior Graphic Designer
Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
I work with the Art Director and other designers to create digital marketing collateral for all of our clients needs to make their brands and tell their stories with purpose. Using UX design, visual design, photography, and my knowledge of the digital marketing space, I create website designs, print collateral, digital ads and mock-ups, and more to help support brand/marketing campaigns for the 500+ clients we work with.

Digital Media Specialist
Seattle, Washington, United States
I create digital marketing campaigns, content, and graphics to develop PNTA's brand identity and generate sales revenue for the company. Specifically, I design and develop proposals for clients, research market trends in the industry, generate sales leads, and design/manage content for all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn), email campaigns, and websites. Working collaboratively with the Marketing Director, Sales team, and Leadership, I craft numerous digital marketing campaigns to enhance PNTA's brand identity, create a brand presence, and gain exposure to our services.

Web Designer
Seattle, Washington, United States
I create and rebrand websites for the numerous divisions of PNTA, including but not limited to: #SeattleLives, PNTAlive, PNTA.com, Systems Integration, and PNTAMedia. These websites are used to reach many audiences such as the corporate industry, non-profits and charities, as well as organizations looking to host live, hybrid, or virtual events in a seamless and creative manner. My goal as the web designer of PNTA is to showcase our services and talents as tech creatives through graphic and user experience. 1. In June 2020, I updated the #SeattleLives website to reflect the company's direction in terms of hosting virtual events for non-profit and corporate organizations. Since March, the company has raised over $12 million dollars for charitable causes, and the website continues to be a great resource and marketing tool for future clients. 2. I have created a completely re-branded PNTAlive and PNTA Systems Integration website. The PNTAlive brand has since transformed since the start of COVID-19. The live event industry has been on decline, so the website for live events (PNTAlive) pivoted to focus on hybrid events. The Systems Integration website was also created for clients who wanted more information on our permanent installations and technical services for stages and venues. Despite targeting separate audiences, I effectively created a preliminary system for these divisions to live under the PNTA brand. 3. I have began to create a graphic design system for PNTA to refresh their company graphics and image. Being such a successful company, I aim to highlight the creative expertise and professionalism that PNTA brings into the entertainment industry.

UX Design Intern
Morrisville
I prototype internal websites and tools such as Lenovo Playbooks, DMI, and other management tools. I also aid in any user experience or user interface design needs at Lenovo, working with senior designers to promote the importance of user experience design/research. 1. In summer 2019, I enhanced usability of frequently used tools/sites for employees by creating re-designs of some parts of tools such as Playbooks and DMI so people will be able to more efficiently run the tools in meetings and present to stakeholders. 2. I helped further our progress in pushing for better UX/UI design at Lenovo by designing a portfolio website that showcases the tools (mainly Playbooks and DMI) that were created by my department. The site was created so both employees and consumers are familiar with the work Lenovo UX Designers do. 3. To promote the use of personas in sales transformation, I created templates of decks to be used in the future for people to use when doing demographic research on people who work in sales (sales leads, sales representatives, channel managers, etc.).

President
Asian Students Association at NC State
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area
Asian Students Association at NC State is a cultural organization made to connect/educate people interested in Asian culture and to meet others with the same interests. It is a non-exclusive and safe space to learn more about Asian heritage and explore different cultures. 1. During my term, we hosted 8 successful cultural events/meetings, multiple fundraisers, and a successful cultural showcase with 300+ people in attendance. To do this, I managed the executive board and delegated tasks to the team members, communicated with external organizations outside of campus, collaboratively planned cultural events, and hosted fundraisers. 2. I was able to enhance ASA's reputation and image on campus by being a spokesperson for outside organizations and pushing to partner with off-campus orgs that make a difference. We launched a canvassing campaign with North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) to reach out to Asian Americans about the importance of voting and to help people register to vote for the upcoming elections.
