Paralegal Intern

About

I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and vocational expert specializing in employability, loss of earning capacity, and vocational analysis in litigation matters. My work sits at the intersection of law, medicine, and workforce strategy, helping attorneys, insurers, and decision-makers understand the real-world impact of injury, disability, and medical limitations on an individual’s ability to work. Through my work, I evaluate medical records, employment history, education, and labor market data to develop objective, defensible opinions used in litigation, settlement negotiations, and administrative proceedings. My analyses often include transferable skills analyses, labor market surveys, and vocational evaluations, all grounded in established methodologies and reliable data sources such as the DOT, O*NET, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. I am currently pursuing a Paralegal Studies Certificate at the University of San Diego School of Law, where I am further developing my legal research, writing, and case management skills in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and disability matters. This legal training complements my vocational expertise and strengthens my ability to contribute meaningfully to litigation strategy, expert report development, and case analysis. In addition to my legal and vocational work, I bring a strong foundation in business development, operations, and client relationship management. In prior roles, I led national sales initiatives, managed high-value accounts, negotiated contracts, and collaborated cross-functionally to drive growth and operational efficiency. This experience allows me to communicate complex vocational findings clearly and strategically to both legal and non-legal audiences. I am particularly interested in continuing to grow within personal injury and workers’ compensation law, where vocational analysis plays a critical role in evaluating damages and employability. My goal is to build a long-term career as a trusted vocational expert and legal professional, providing high-quality, objective analysis that supports informed decision-making. I’m always open to connecting with attorneys, legal professionals, and industry experts interested in collaboration, case support, or vocational consulting.
