Samantha Nordhagen

Since I regard myself as a jack-of-all-trades, I decided to major in business—because, in my perspective, business can be useful in virtually any field. Entering college, I had planned to study photography and journalism, and then wildlife ecology and pre-business, but ultimately I fell in love with my business studies and chose to stick with it. I am career-certified in both photography and video production, and I have successfully launched a small photography business of my own. During my time in college, I have held a variety of jobs and developed new skills in each one, such as customer service, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, leadership, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. I consider myself to be somewhat of a traveller; I enjoy exploring new locations and picking up new talents wherever I go. Regarding my pastimes, I take pleasure in a wide range of activities, including hiking, painting and other forms of art, knitting, and photography for fun as well as professionally. I previously danced for 11 years and competed in gymnastics for around 14 years, and found enjoyment among many other sports throughout my life.
