* Follow through on scholarship applications and discover the best way to meet the needs of veterans looking to return or continue higher education. * Work closely with the program director to ensure the effectiveness of the foundation. * Schedule and complete biannual reviews with all current Sentinels. * Create reports based on biannual reviews on each current Sentinel to present to the Board of Directors.

* Establish and enforce rules and procedures for behavior management in a class of 21 students. * Create child-based, hands-on curriculum to promote student interest and receptive learning. * Utilize Kagan Learning Strategies to encourage student learning and to build a community within the classroom. * Collaborate with teammates to improve instruction for all students and * establish positive relationships with students, parents and faculty. * Use technology in the classroom to provide engagement and meet the needs of the 21st century learner.

* Plan and teach curriculum for the 3 and 2 year old classroom. * Observe students for seasonal assessments to be presented at parent/teacher conferences. * Possess flexibility to work in other classrooms including the Pre-Kindergarten and school age room. * Build trusting relationships with directors, staff members, parents, and children. * Create a safe and welcoming environment for each and every student.

* Responsible for oversight of all processes and development associated with the application, acceptance and monitoring of Sentinels under the scholarship program. * Assist Chairman with recruitment of eligible candidates and potential partner organizations that may share candidate referrals. * Monitor intake of applicant documents and biannual application periods * Interview candidates and organize narratives for review * Supervise Program Staff for assistance with all duties listed above * Scholarship Deployment and Maintenance * Maintain Sentinel Rent Master and submit to bookkeeper with updates monthly * Monitor and submit other approved Sentinel expenses and reimbursements * Research and provide Mentor assignments * Research and provide financial advisor matches * Research and provide legal assistance matches * Provide overall support to Sentinel cohort for all special requests/problems/terminations * Lead consideration and/or implementation of auxiliary platforms * Ongoing evaluation of overall SOF business model for streamlining and capacity improvement
