flight control systems test engineer
parker hannifin
* Participated in Verification & Validation activities for the Bombardier CSeries Aircraft for safety of flight and certification * Oversaw testing of the non-volatile memory system of the aircraft’s control computers and on-board monitoring system. * Developed functional and requirement-based test procedures; generated and debugged test and post-processing scripts. Conducted both informal (dry-run) and formal test executions.

* Interned as an I&T support engineer for a JPL flight project titled Radiometer Atmospheric CubeSat Experiment (RACE). Unfortunately, the CubeSat was destroyed in the Orbital Sciences’ Antares rocket explosion on October 28th, 2014. * Supported flight hardware testing alongside various engineers and scientists by developing and executing test procedures for and on the radiometer instrument. * Performed a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on the radiometer instrument. * Oversaw development of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for radiometer testing. Ground fixtures were built and integrated with a motor controller in order to test the radiometer’s performance. * Prepared a final report and presented a technical summary to the RACE team, JPL engineers and scientist, fellow Student Independent Research Internship members, and Summer Internship Program members.

aerospace engineering
Used Model-Based Systems Engineering to design the operations of a UAV, the functions that the vehicle would perform, and the components of the vehicle itself. This involved capturing customer, derived, & regulatory requirements into the system. This was done under the guidance of a senior Northrop Grumman Systems Architect. - Designed a spacecraft that is capable of traveling to Saturn’s rings where it would acquire ring samples and complete in-situ analysis using a wide range of instrumentation. The sample RFP was written by JPL. The design was presented at JPL at the SDR and PDR level. - Trained in the use of data acquisition devices such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multi-meters, and analog I/Os. Developed bridge circuit and low noise circuitry for amplification of signals from sensors. Familiar with electronic circuitry, test instrumentation and have a fundamental understanding of analog & digital acquisition principles. Activities and Societies: The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Sigma Gamma Tau: National Aerospace Honor Society
