In this highly strategic head of procurement leadership role, I was engaged in setting and driving national procurement policies, implementing a strategic approach to supplier engagement by leveraging Ausco's national presence to maximise value achievement and supply continuity. I designed and rolled out a national procurement strategy, implementing plans to gain a competitive advantage for growing recurring revenue, supporting productivity growth and expediting time to market whilst managing supply chain risks to ensure continuity of material supply for Operations, especially critical after the global effects of COVID-19, building supplier relationships, balancing risk and ensuring sufficient inventory.

Following my success as Manufacturing Coordinator, I was promoted to the Supply Manager role to manage the procurement activities for the manufacture of modular buildings in Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide and Perth. This role required strategic management and was measured on the percentage of on-time deliveries, improving project communication flow for stakeholder engagement and the successful management of change to a centralised procurement structure.

Accountable for co-ordinating manufacturing activities to ensure modular buildings are completed within factories in time to meet contractual dates and established methods ensuring the supply of critical materials supported manufacturing schedules. I worked closely with leaders across the business, formulating and executing an improved scheduling program to handle five factories with frequently changing priorities and devising methods in the factory scheduling program to forecast and schedule critical material, achieving increased revenue outcomes.

Commencing my career with Ausco Modular as a Senior Supply Officer, I was tasked with procurement of timely and cost-effective materials and labour for the manufacture of modular buildings for the company, ensuring on-time delivery of material and services to meet schedule requirements and accuracy of materials ordered against the specifications on drawings.
