Master in Command of new build multipurpose AHTS. Set up and commissioning of new systems in ship yard including Rolls Royce Icon DP 2 systems. Heavily involved with FMEA trails and new build commissioning surveys. Long term charter with Petrobras Brazil. Operations utilizing Rolls Royce safe anchor handling system, included ultra deep water anchor handling pre-lay systems, Semi Submersible, Jack up and Drill ship rig moving and towing operations. Subsea projects include; 2200m FPSO mooring installations, FPSO hook ups, Riser pullback and change out operations and innovative BSR (Buoyancy Supported Riser) buoy test installation in the Campos and Santos Field’s Brazil.

Master of DP 2 AHTS vessel. Extensive handling and positioning of Semi submersible rigs in restricted situations, Ultra deep FPSO mooring installation and specialist offshore project work for high profile client, working offshore Brazil. 100t Torpedo, SEPLA, TLP, Suction high holding anchor systems installation. Maintaining vessel to the highest standards and working closely with charter representatives and marine surveyors ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation. Vessel inspections and surveys including IMCA standard DP annual proving trials and classification surveys. Extensive knowledge of Kongsberg DP 2 systems.DP 2/ DP 1 operations including extensive anchor handling, FPSO and Semi- submersible production platform mooring installation, suction / torpedo and SEPLA high holding anchors, Pre Lay and Chaser Trap anchor systems. Various projects North Sea, Asia, West Africa and Brazil. Subsea construction including ROV and dive support, DP-2 Ploughing and Trenching on various North Sea projects - VMP plough. Second in Command of 23480 BHP A- Class AHTS vessel DP-2 Subsea installation, heavy lifts (250t) A-Frame operations and deepwater anchor handling. Diving FPSO turret maintenance and cofferdam change out. Loading and monitoring of company and charterer equipment, vessel maintenance crew management, ballast and stability control. Proactive implementation of vessels SMS and HSE systems, in accordance with company and charter procedures. Fully familiar with CMID inspections. company representative with up to 70 crew members on-board, Ship Security Officer. Other Responsibilities: Operation and planned maintenance of SWL 625t offshore hydraulic and electric winches. Wire inspections, condition reports and upkeep of anchor handling and towing equipment. Extensive knowledge and experience of Kongsberg DP systems ROV including FMEA Trails, Position reference systems: Hipap, DGPS, Fanbeam.
