I transitioned to the role of Search Engine Optimisation Specialist & Copywriter, jointly responsible for SEO & organic performance of brand sites plus extra digital marketing responsibilities. • Delivered a 20% YoY improvement in SEO performance (measured by click and visibility KPIs) during peak period for one brand site despite contractions in market and search volume. • Helped deliver 100% YoY growth (clicks) for a second brand site in a different search sector. • Designed and implemented a content-led SEO strategy to grow a separate domain to 400 clicks and 30,000 impressions per month within 6 months. • Responsibilities additional to my named role: supervision of brand socials, all site copy, CRO improvements, improving brand PR with agent. • Took lead on brand partnerships, managing collaborations with organisations such as Transport for London & Ted Baker. Results include one brand’s best-ever organic social post and high-engagement competitions.

My dissertation focused on nobel-prize winning South African authors Nadine Gordimer and J.M Coetzee and how their writing depicted Apartheid and 1980s South Africa.
