Projects: 2012: Final Year Project (4th year): Experimental investigation of an atmospheric plasma jet. Spectroscopic experiments were carried out under various conditions to obtain a better understanding of the production of free radicals in the plasma. The abundance of which is correlated with the sterilization of bacteria. A thesis style final report was submitted and a presentation given. 2011: Astronomy Project (3rd year): Measurement of orbital velocities of 44 iBootis. A proposal for the project was put forward. Data was collected at an observatory in Loiano, Italy. This data was then reduced and analysed. A final report was submitted and a poster presentation was given to the faculty staff.
