During my time at P&O Cruises I delivered a completely redesigned brochure which focuses on a more refined customer journey. I concepted and produced marketing campaigns from initial idea generation to the production of DM pieces and digital toolkits. I also worked on developing the capabilities of the in house design team by introducing more animation, video and digital techniques utilising the full Adobe Creative Suite. Unfortunately I was made redundant from this role due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Working predominantly in catalogue design and production I am able to put my own influences on current and new publications produced by Stearn Electric and the other group companies under the Newbury Investments group umbrella. During my time at Stearn I have been tasked with the brand development and bespoke design work for group companies, as well as helping to bring in place branding guidelines for other group companies to improve visual consistency. I have also gained and passed on experience of email design using the email management system, Campaign Monitor.

Whilst studying at university and for a short time after, I was asked to produce some design work for a local charity that needed a new brand identity. This also included continued advertisement, promotional, and literature design for its upcoming events and to promote its services to the local community. The majority of solutions I produced for the charity were print based and included roll-up banners, posters, leaflets, signage, and newspaper advertisements.

Throughout my summer breaks whilst at university, I had the amazing opportunity to work at the YMCA as a Daycamp Leader. My responsibilities included looking after groups of children aged 7-10 - supervising and engaging with them whilst leading an array of outdoor activities. After several summers of working with the YMCA, I progressed to become an Age Group Leader which included holding responsibility for around 200 children as well as 20 staff members. This involved allocating groups to each member of my team, ensuring all activities ran smoothly, as well leading decisions in cases of extreme weather and emergencies.

PurpleFox Marketing to me on board their team to help diversify the range of design solutions they could offer to their clients. The agency predominantly designed and produced websites before my arrival, but throughout my short time there I helped them develop and understand the benefits and beauty of print design and the tactile solutions they could offer businesses in the local area and further afield. I managed to also gain a good range of experience of designing layouts for websites and developing my animation skills when producing in-house promotional material for the agency.

Working mainly at music events, I photographed people and music artists on behalf of venues for their promotional material - mainly for their social media accounts. This job gave me an excellent opportunity to network and develop my photography skills whilst working in some amazing venues.
