COVID-19-Taskforce: Director, Digital Online Learning from Home Strategy

Whilst undertaking normal duties of the Director, School & Business Systems, I also took on the additional duties of leading the strategic coordination of activities to support the Continuity of Education in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic enabling the delivery of the 'Learning from Home' hub to support Principals, Teachers, Parent/Carers and Students during the lockdown and throughout the remainder of the year as individual schools or communities went back into lockdown in response to a positive COVID-19 case. I led multiple teams in the delivery of commercial contracts with 3rd party online learning tool software developers across a broad range of curriculum areas from K-12; the delivery of professional learning for school-based non-teaching staff focussing on both leadership, school staff wellbeing, and use of IT systems; and the overall governance and reporting of the workstreams undertaken by the taskforce and the independent review of the outcomes achieved by the CoE taskforce work in response to COVID-19. I was a contributing writer to the final NSW Department of Education COVID-19 Outcomes Report presented to the NSW Government.
