I arrived in Dubai in 1984 with a dream to make it big. I started my career in this industry as a sales associate in a hardware store. Six years down the line, I opened my first store, Safinaat Al Sahraa Trading Co. LLC. Today, along with my team of 100 employees, I manage the following: • 8 showrooms, • Four warehouses stocking close to 12,000 SKUs • Serving close to 4,000 clients from Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, and CIS countries • Representing brands from Europe, India, and the Far East • Building relationships with close to 700 manufacturers from China, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia & Europe I genuinely believe my life turned around as I grounded my personal & professional approach on the following: 1.
