Housekeeping Department & laundry

Direct and control housekeeping operations and staff of the housekeeping department - Responsible for maintaining consistent cleanliness throughout guest rooms, meeting space, and public areas. - Inspect guestrooms and public areas for cleanliness standards, correcting deficiencies with housekeeping staff, maintaining quality work performance - Apply human resource management skills, such as hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating Performance - Complete financial management tasks, such as setting and adhering to a budget - Creating a service environment focused on the guest. - Review monthly inventory records of linens and operating supplies - Supervise the Laundry operation; ensuring linen and supply inventories are maintained - Supervises the day to day activities of housekeeping staff - Utilizes leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize productivity and satisfaction of the staff - Communicate and follow up with the Front Desk, Sales, Banquets and Engineering Departments to ensure a high quality product and service level are delivered to our guests. - Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates
