As a Project Engineer Intern the duties I carried out include: • Tracking project progress and managing material procurement through bid packages for a $50 million solar project spanning 500 acres. • Coordinated daily operations by developing thorough plans of the day, liaising with superintendents, preparing schedule updates, managing material deliveries, and played a crucial part in the team for the project to be ahead of schedule. • Prepared agendas and presided over all job site meetings, sub-contractor meetings since my 2nd month, updated minutes, and managed all client documentation through detailed record-keeping practices. • Inspected and documented work observations to ensure adherence to safety policies and protocols. • Performed quantity takeoffs for the 70 MW solar project, collaborated with subcontractors and vendors to oversee material testing, systems installation tests, equipment maintenance, and other site requirements. • Inspected the construction with Quality Assurance/Quality Check engineer to ensure compliance to quality standards and project specifications, and assisted in closeout process by working on punch lists. • Utilized PlanGrid and Bluebeam software to interpret construction drawings and ensure compliance with design and engineering requirements. • Created, reviewed, and processed 2 Request for Information (RFIs), submittals, and 2 change orders with Project Engineer.
