I started as a full-stack engineer building cloud-native microservices for some of the most compliance-sensitive industries in the US banking, insurance, and healthcare. Six years later, I've carried that engineering depth into product ownership, and it fundamentally changes what I can deliver. At USAA, I own end-to-end delivery of cloud-native insurance and financial product services, from shaping the technical roadmap with business stakeholders to setting architectural standards for our event-driven Kafka/ActiveMQ infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS serverless components.
