Led the effort of revamping Campbell’s Direct Store Delivery mobile application and other supporting Sales tools.

Managed the process of software framework evaluation, hardware vendor selection for the DSD (Direct Store Delivery) application at Snyder’s-Lance. Architected, built and deployed mobility solutions to over 3000+ users using multiple technology stacks (Windows Mobile, Palm OS, iOS, Android). Implemented device agnostic HTML5 mobile application for our distributors to help them manage their business and incentivize them to grow sales. Design and implemented REST API infrastructure for the Enterprise Apps. Implemented the Real Time Messaging system for our 3000+ users using the XMPP and OpenFire technologies, that can be integrated with any Host system.

Spearheaded the DS Waters’ route mobility technology transitions over the years (Palm OS, Panasonic CF-27 Tough book, Windows Mobile 5 and 6, and started towards Android). Architected and managed multiple mobile applications including Route Delivery/CRM mobile application for 2500 Route Delivery Personals, Customer Acquisition/Ordering application for the sales team, Field Service application for service techs (to install/replace/fix the water filtration system). These application includes multiple OS, multiple development environment, database and technologies. Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices - J2ME, Visual Studio .NET, Oracle 10G lite Mobile Server, Oracle Lite Database, DEX, Bluetooth, TCP/IP, HTTPS, Webservices, Google MAP API's Laptops - J2SE, Oracle Lite Database, Oracle 10G lite Mobile Server, Oracle Lite Database. Palm OS - Sattelite Forms, Code Warrior, C.

Part of the Rand McNally’s Development team for the project “The PalmPak Travel Card” which won the BEST OF COMDEX AWARD for 2001. This road atlas had the full map of USA, the search of Point of interests, routing etc. Implemented the algorithm for Point of interest searches: Allows searching for 10000 exits and 10000 attractions by radial and name.

Responsible for the module level designing, coding, integration and testing. Demonstrated the ability to work individually as well as a team player by consistently meeting deadlines, and by following the software engineering methodologies, including initial system specification, development, unit and integration testing.
