I’m a retail professional with 12+ years of experience in merchandising, sourcing, and vendor management, with a proven track record of supporting leading retailers and driving product success from concept to customer. Currently at TJX Australia, I support the Buyer in the Outdoor, Entertaining & Soft Home categories. Alongside managing daily operations, I actively take on Buyer-focused responsibilities, including Sales & Trend Analysis – identifying best selling products, spotting seasonal opportunities, and making data-driven recommendations. Reorders & Quantity Planning – analyzing sell-through and ensuring high-performing products remain in stock. Market & Competitor Insights – tracking retail trends and customer preferences to guide smarter buying decisions. Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration – building strong supplier relationships and resolving challenges quickly. Earlier in my career, I spent nearly a decade in production coordination and sourcing in Bangladesh, specializing in activewear, jackets, quilts, and pillows. I partnered directly with international buyers and supported retail accounts such as H&M, Sainsbury’s, George, Arcadia, Kmart, and Target, gaining hands-on experience in quality control, shipment tracking, and vendor compliance. I’m passionate about blending analytical thinking with creative product selection to deliver value to customers, drive profitable growth, and strengthen supplier partnerships. My next step is to progress into a Buyer role, where I can take full ownership of product strategy, vendor negotiations, and trend curation.
