Currently, My role as a Coding Quality Coordinator involves auditing professional based provider coding and documentation retrospectively. Once trends are identified, communication is relayed back to the provider with suggestions of coding/documentation improvement. This is a remote position, unless a one-on-one meeting is scheduled with a provider. My current specialties that I work with are: OB/GYN, GYN/ONC, URO/GYN, Dermatology, Radiology, Wound Care and Infectious Disease. The specialties that I have experience within this position are: Specialties noted as above, Hospitalist, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Residency, General Surgery, ENT, Endocrinology.
