Connecting Engineering and Biomedicine in the field of genetic medicine – that's my passion. What I am doing now: Working on multidisciplinary internal and international projects in cell and gene therapy field. I am taking creative and transformative steps by placing and combining solid engineering and biomedical expertise in a wholistic and pragmatic context – enabling innovative solutions for cell manufacturing processes as well as product development from proof of concept through to final processes for pioneering cell production platforms. My expertise comprises cell selection and cell manufacturing process design and development, equipment and (medical) device development under regulatory aspects with internal and external partners, implementation of technical solutions for state-of-the-art and next-generation cell manufacturing processes. I am enthusiastic to work on and lead cross-functional projects in a team-focused way by overseeing and working towards milestones, defining and coordinating work packages, discovering and correcting problems, risks and deviations, identifying solution concepts and potential for improvement, communicating with internal and external partners and stakeholders, delivering output on time, supporting team members to grow and always giving them a sympathetic hearing. I am convinced that authenticity and empathy are essential characteristics for a trusting and collaborative working environment which serves as a basis for successful project progress.
