Head of Technology and Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, reporting to the Group CIO, Acting Deputy CIO and leading the group’s Technology and Digital team setup. Developed the Group’s Technology and Digital Strategy and built the Enterprise Architecture (Business, Applications, Information and Infrastructure Architecture) for the group to achieve the business imperatives and enable the business ambitious transformation. Led the roll out of the new Technology Operating model developing and putting in place a new Digital Delivery Organization including Product Management, UX/UI, Digital Development, DevOps and Data teams to enable the digital transformation. Activated and overseen the execution of some key strategic Technology initiatives including the Cloud Migration and Revamp of B2C Mobile experience, CRM, Big Data Platform, Travel Digital experience Induced EA core values into Solution architecture – to formulate TO-BE state, analyze AS-IS state and prepare the roadmap by following EA principles along with ICT Strategy to help during Business Planning cycle. Driven to support EA Strategy, Charter and Roadmap for implementation and Conduct EA maturity assessment to identify the gaps, prepare mitigation plan and communicate to senior management for overall EA progress.

Strategic planning for all IT initiatives in correlation with the future direction in which the organization tends to move. Managing, devising & implementing multi speed software development methodologies (waterfall, agile) across various verticals in the organization depending on the strategic type of the project. Lead Planning for effective and long-term corporate IT standards, all application aspects including data architecture (reporting, analytics, integration, CDP) and optimizing the effects of systems on the entire IT portfolio. Designed, planned and implemented the Business Relationship model (BRM) across all SBUs/CFUs in the organization and headed the BRM division to drive business capability and technical solution alignment across the group.

Developed a data products oriented structure so that various data products have product owners/product managers who are driving the respective product backlogs and future roadmaps. Enabled the organization to see various K-12 schools nationwide and slicing/dicing the data in various aspects to see where the country is lacking in terms of proper bandwidth required for digital learning. Building data teams and enabling them with data analysis & BI tools for proper KPI dashboards to help the management navigate to the various state agencies to get the funding required for enabling high speed cables and fiber lines. Enabled a data architecture revamp strategy with implementation of a star schema data warehousing.

Manage strategic programs for Data analytics at a global level by identifying integration level GAP & Opportunities for solutions areas of expansion and encouraging professional services engagements. Lead solution design and technical design reviews, ensuring the various projects are following agreed corporate strategic direction. Manage pre and post sales solution proposals (including HLDs, RFPs, tech approach) to ensure stakeholder alignment. Architecting E2E Data Pipeline and incorporate implementation strategies with cross functional departments. Lead design, development and implementation of an Enterprise level Big Data Instrumentation Programs.

Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization. Managed Big Data infrastructure projects by migrating legacy systems to Hadoop & NoSQL component and Managed data migration program from AS400 to Salesforce dot com for the entire organization. Enabled organization to utilize next generation Data solutions and supported legacy systems to be depleted from the enterprise tech stack, thus enabling resiliency, uptime, performance enhancement for end users.

Coached the transformation from a traditional technology services department of data centers and networks to embracing creative customer-focused, cloud-based application deliverables. Monitored and controlled application design and architecture components for Fin-Tech & PeopleSoft ERP based fiscal management of on-going projects. Lead strategic incubator projects on recurring basis to ensure technology and architecture approach and solution is headed in the design and development direction that is appropriate for other systems dependent on the projects on hand.

Researched, recommended, and facilitated the deployment of the new modules and infrastructures to support new solutions. Designed, developed, tested, implemented, and enhanced PeopleSoft FSCM applications, utilized Application Engine,Application Package, SQR, SQL, PeopleCode, XML Publisher, Data Archiving Manager, Component Interface and Integrated Broker technologies

Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements, build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables. Coded and debugged Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and functions for use on Crystal Reports. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
