ChannelAssist powers partner loyalty and employee engagement through gamification and sales incentives. As a Senior Quality Assurance Manual & Automation Engineer who will play a vital role in the manual and automatic testing of ChannelAssist applications. I act as a focus point for quality assurance in agile testing environment to represent QA within one of the cross-functional scrum teams, work with product owners, UX designers, and developers and support team to deliver product releases. I also participate in creating test automation framwork with setting up Azure DevOps pipeline, generating high-standard test plans with constanct test cases review, and carrying by working on a variety of projects. Responsibilities: •Review software requirements and create test cases with execution •Prepare test case results report on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and report to the development team •Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability •Participate in sprint activities such as sprint planning, sprint retrospective, backlog refinements and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems •Group test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test batches, and generate test results •Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate with improvements with enhancement of existing QA processes, methodologies, and Software testing Lifecycle, Major Achivements: •Establish test suites in Microsoft Azure DevOps Test Plan with different modules using "Requirement-Base" test suites to connect with Product Backlog Item (PBI) story, ensuring all test cases have proper reference with tracerbility to related PBI •Be a pioneer to build BDD test automation pipeline in MS Azure DevOps with .Net Framework using Specflow and C# following features files and step definitions to automate releated test cases •Provide automation training and help QA team members to onboard with Visual Studio and C# using specflow

1. Participate in Kanban/Sprint processes including attending daily standup, project planning, kickoff meetings, creating JIRA ticket for tasks/issues/bugs fitting different purposes. 2. Contribute to existing QA processes by preparing QA test management documents such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases spreadsheets for projects and different testing phases. 3. Plan, prepare and participate in functional testing for different components include but not limited to windows/Web BAU (Business As Usual) applications with multi-tier infrastructures such as core billing, TMH (Transaction Management hub), Batch scheduler and consoles. Selected Projects: 1. CRS (Central Reporting System) new PDF format production deployments verification and validation testing using different OS applications. 2. API backend testing for conducting application transaction with restful request based on defined WSDL schema and end points. 3. Mock cut over testing for migration of existing billing applications from legacy system to AWS and Carbon 60 platforms. Selected Technologies: 1. • Attend Sprint Scrum process including Spring Backlogs Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, creating JIRA tickets for testing purposes, following defect processes to log issues/bugs in project release • Follow three amigos approach to combine the perspectives of Product Owner (PO), Development and Quality Assurance for sprint planning and evaluation • Review back logs with functional and design specifications with discussion between agile scrum team to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables with proper estimations provided • Create, execute and manage test cases in test management tooling system (i.e. Testrail) include but not limited to desktop, mobile, API and automation tests • Contributes to develop and improve existing testing technologies including agile workflow, methods, automation, approaches and execution • Be the pioneer of test automation by kicking off Canada feature team test automation involvement including identifying automation candidates, write BDD based features with step implementation, create code branches in Stash for development, code review with resolving merge conflict, mentoring team members to ensure automation task completion

• Act as focus point for quality assurance in an agile testing environment to represent QA within one of the cross-functional scrum teams, work with product owners, UX designers, and developers and support team to deliver product releases • Discover and write user stories and use cases with formalized test cases to provide sufficient test coverage • Provide estimation for user stories, participate in planning prior to sprint starts, execute test cases for new features and changes in functionalities when stories are ready for QA testing following defined agile workflow before moving to acceptance • Fully engaged in agile scrum team activities include but not limited to estimation session to review user story and provide work efforts estimated, planning session for adding user story for the features from backlogs to active sprint based on priority discussed, daily stand-up for testing updates with issues reported, sprint retrospective for process improvements • Review, expand and maintain the test case repository either on share drive or on test management tools such as TestRail used for both feature sprint and hardening regression testing • Experience of using BDD and related automation tooling such as Cypress for building feature and step definition files such as Scenario with Given, When and Then steps implementation • Thoroughly investigate the targeted scope of testing and identify impacted areas requiring test coverage • Participate in troubleshooting for test environment setup such as review app performance issue and local testing environment to run feature test and reproduce bugs locally • Contribute to existing automation framework by creating scripts and feature files using related tooling such as cypress and git hub with merge requests to CI/CD pipeline • Conduct functional testing in EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and container (Docker) test environment

Filogix Expert® is web based application using J2EE, JQuery, Hibernate Map, JSP, Java Script, Oracle 9.1, Sun Application Server and other Advanced Technologies. The Testing tools involved are HP Load Runner 9.5, TOAD Database for Oracle, HP Quality Centre, Team Track, Remote Admin and HP Quick Test Professional.

Worked in the Retail Branch Technology Department with outside vendors and internal CIBC groups to maintain and manage a multi-tiered platform.
