富士通株式会社に入社。HDDヘッド開発技術者として生産性向上のためのプロセス開発に従事。その後、携帯電話事業部に配属、技術のわかる企画人材としてマーケティング業務に従事した。技術的知見を活かしながらユーザー視点からの商品戦略を数多く手がけると同時に、携帯電話を用いた新規ビジネス立ち上げのプロジェクトメンバーにも抜擢され、基本アイディアの抽出から市場性・実現性の調査、ビジネスモデルの構築を担当する。マーケティング業務に携わる中で、データドリブンな意思決定に興味を持ち、独学の後に異動。データサイエンティストとして、様々な業界・業種向けの分析フレームワークを構築した実績を持つ。またアナリティクスチームのリーダーとして、効率的な分析手法や顧客向けの分かりやすい可視化手法の開発とツール化を推進。加えて他社協業による分析アルゴリズムを活用したサービス開発も担当し、アルゴリズム開発のリーダーとしてサービサーと連携しながら技術面をリードしている分析者としてのミッションは顧客の業務課題を理解し計算で解ける数理問題に翻訳した上で、多角的・網羅的な分析で「データに答えを語らせる」ことである。また分析結果の報告で終わることなく、業務上の活用方法の提案や分析結果を客観的に評価するためのKPIの設計など、顧客のデータ活用推進を全面的にサポートすることをミッションとする。データ分析は常に課題ファースト、課題セントラルでなければならない。どんなにリッチなデータであっても、正しい問いかけがないと価値を引き出すのは難しい。
