Hello! I'm a commercial and editorial photographer and director who was born in San Francisco, raised in an East Bay suburb, and schooled at Art Center College of Design. I currently split my time between LA and SF. I'm mostly interested in exploring stories on sports, industry, and music. When I'm not shooting photos or staring at a screen, I'm playing skateboards, riding bikes, or hooping. Since 2012, I have worked as a California-based photographer and director, specializing in long and short-form visual essays across the United States. My editorial work spans a wide range of subjects, including science, technology, music, sports, celebrity portraiture, still-life, and landscapes. Through my lens, I’ve built a diverse portfolio that captures the stories of individuals from all walks of life—from rising NBA stars to cattle ranchers in North Dakota, unhoused youth along California’s coasts to billionaire inventors in Silicon Valley. A common thread throughout my work is the exploration of how my subjects actively shape and contribute to the culture of their communities. Whether through their dedication to a craft, sport, or lifestyle, my photographs offer a glimpse into the places and spaces they call "home," highlighting the profound connection between identity, environment, and the stories we tell.
