Ambiguous builds AI coworkers that work like teammates. Our coworkers have real identities (e.g. @oliver, @claire) and work naturally through human interfaces like email, Slack, and Google Docs. They handle everyday operational tasks like scheduling and CRM updates by default, and can run complex playbooks using your SOPs — such as managing customer inquiries and processing refunds. Under the hood, Ambiguous is an agentic operating system designed to plan and execute the low-complexity, high-frequency tasks no one wants to do. The first wave was coding agents. The second was customer service. The third is Ambiguous coworkers: a new category of work management where humans and AI collaborate as teammates.

Doorstead is a technology-operations company and full-service property management brokerage that provides cash-flow certainty to rental owners through data-driven rent guarantees (e.g., $3,500/mo starting in 28 days). • Raised $40M+ from top-tier investors (Madrona, M13, MetaProp, and others) • Scaled to nearly $10M ARR and achieved free-cash-flow positive • Signed a category-defining partnership with a $15B real estate company • Grew the team to 100+ across product, engineering, and operations • Transitioned to Chairman of the Board after scaling operations

Kitchenbowl's engineering team was acquihired into Uber to lead a social initiative under Andrew Chen and funded by the former CEO. We launched both Saved and Shared Places, leveraging the inherent virality of taking Uber with friends (20% of Saved Places are of a friend’s home). Today, Saved Places is one of Uber’s most used features. With the change in leadership, I switched over to an AI/ML team on sensing, inference, and research, where we provide trip inferences to improve operational efficiency of Uber’s core business and UberEats.

At Kitchenbowl, we believe that everyone is a cook, and with quality, step-by-step instructions, home-cooking is not only attainable but also enjoyable. Repeating video clips and images displaying techniques accompany each step of the cooking process, making the creation of meals simple and fun. Kitchenbowl is a platform for people who are passionate about cooking and a community where people can create and share their favorite recipes. Kitchenbowl has been featured in the App Store as a “Best New App” and was ranked #1 Christmas app under “Recipes and Chefs.” Buzzfeed, Time, and Mashable featured Kitchenbowl’s viral video “Kids Try Breakfast From Around the World” which now has over 13 million views. Our product, Kitchenbowl was acquired by ABC Cooking Studio Worldwide Ltd.

Recruited initial team, developed MVP, formed strategic advertising partnerships, and grew title to a few million downloads (with over 15B words found and 800M games played). Word Seek was featured by Apple as one of the best ‘Educational Games’, ‘Word Battle Games’ and ‘Online Multiplayer Games'​ while TechCrunch reported that the game was "the all-time most addictive title based on its App Store review ratings" (out of 435,000 apps).

Researched under Professor Drew Bagnell in 3D SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) to create autonomous tele-operated vehicles that entered mines in Africa. TA’d for web applications and development (15-637). Finished all major course requirements, then dropped out to join Silicon Valley startup (status: pending thesis, on leave of absence — indefinitely).

Double-majored and minored in Cognitive Science while taking 30+ units a semester, then graduated with high honors. Did senior honors thesis in “Gesture Recognition with Probabilistic Models.” TA’d for Structures & Interpretation of Computer Programming (CS 61A), Advanced Data Structures (CS 61B) 2x, and Artificial Intelligence (CS 188) 2x. Founded Cal GNU/Linux User Group and hosted notable speakers such as Richard Stallman and Chris DiBona. ACM programming veteran, consistently scored 3rd best programmer spot at Berkeley.
