About

Why is it so hard to sell material handling equipment nowadays? And what can you do about it when: - The industry's flooded with competition - Customers are inundated with choices - Everyone claims to be superior to their rivals The secret is customization. Outshining everyone else because your solution can be most closely tailored to your customer's needs. A short time ago, Hyster-Yale's Investor Day Presentation highlighted that operators account for 69% of the typical forklift truck cost per hour. That's enormous! Things like: Productivity. Fatigue. Ergonomics. When operator safety or comfort gets neglected, a forklift purchase costs a company LOTS more than it should. An enclosed operator cab can be a logical fix to address this, but OEMs often have limited options because of production line constraints. Ask yourself, are you prepared to lose a deal to your competitor because: - The factory can't offer a cab for the truck model your customer wants? - Repairing/replacing curved glass might incur your customer twice the cost of flat glass? - You're unable to outfit your cab with a non-glass alternative like the Lexan Margard your food industry customer needs? - Your foundry or metal casting customer can't get a heat shield from you? - There's a lack of air conditioning options? Long lead times? Poor after-sales technical support? Etc. If this sounds familiar (or you have an application with special requirements), we might be worth a look. Harris-Stolper has been in the enclosed operator cab business since the 1960s. Our team doesn't sport the mop-top haircuts anymore, but we've earned a reputation for fit, finish, and unrivaled CUSTOMIZABILITY. I'd love to connect if I can help support your sales efforts. 📧 rmacdonald@harris-stolper.com ☎️ (905) 792-3030 🌐 www.harris-stolper.com
