Ryan Miller

As a Structures Designer at Ghostworks Marine, I’m responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and performance of advanced vessel systems from initial concept through final delivery. My work spans the full design lifecycle — developing structural concepts, creating detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings and testing validation plans. This position allows me to combine my passion for marine design and problem solving while contributing to innovative, high‑performance marine systems.

Day to day I support senior engineers by testing and implementing new processes that are used through out the boat building process to improve the overall quality of a part.

I gained practical construction experience using power tools, heavy equipment, framing, concrete pours, building codes, engineered designs, and roof weather proofing techniques.

Design, built, tested and competed with our car against other major colleges. I worked on frame design, powertrain design, and data acquisition. In addition, I have experience in carbon fiber and fiber glass mold making, lay-up, and finishing techniques.
