Maintained cyanobacterial cell cultures and screen their genomes in search for novel protein as a possible candidate for new drugs. Elucidated gene clusters encoding for polyketides and non-ribosomal peptides, and targeted expression on a non native host. Analysed chemical spectral data using HPLC and LCMS. Managed various consultancy projects, general lab provisions and instruments care. Contributed and assisted in peer reviewed paper submission. Developed and maintained our own Laboratory Information Management System.

I am a research assistant responsible for generating various pathology analysis and statistics, particularly concerning antimicrobial resistances, using 17 years of big data from South East Sydney and Illawarra region. -I have worked utilising various programming and scripting languages mainly on Google Cloud Platform. Using Google BigQuery to analyse trends of antimicrobial susceptibility across South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra region. -Generated automated analysis batching program and web front-end of analysis software in Google Apps Script using HTML5/CSS/Javascript, SQL, Python, and Powershell; JQuery, Bootstrap, Google Charts API, AJAX, etc. -Developed and maintained database of various projects using Microsoft BI tools, Power BI, MS Access, PowerPivot and VBA. -Provided informatics and statistical analysis towards doctors, epidemiologist and researchers.
