Introduction to Probability (MATH 180A) Calculus-Based Introductory Probability and Statistics (MATH 11)

- Instructed Intermediate Microeconomics and Econometrics to a class of 150 undergraduates students - Facilitated the UCSD Economics Teaching staff in regular academic duties such exam proctoring, grading and responding to student inquiries - Offered support to more than 50 undergraduates for a whole quarter, each session lasted for 2-4 hours

- Assisted Phd candidate Philip Hoxie with his research projects - Managed 2 undergrad research assistants in constructing a dataset with over 10000 entries. Instructed them R and Stata programming to perform basic data inference. - Reviewed online historical literature on Texas Reconstruction policies, and wrote a memo summarising the relavant historic policies including but not limited to labour regulations, military stationing locations etc. - Constructed a dataset that contain the production data of over 50 types of crop. Each crop has over 30 years of production data (from 1970 to 2023). - Utilised R programming to perform time-series metrics to analyse over 30 years of crop production data. Tasks include but not limiting to testing for stationarity, performing QLR tests to identify sudden shocks and growths of production, plotting production curves etc.

- Supervised by the credit department staff and gained proficiency towards the fundamentals process of issuing loans, such as drafting credit proposals, researching company performance statistics - Conducted research on government policy updates related to various industry such as port and banking to evaluate a client's overall credit performance. - Facilitated loans issuing by analysing more than 60 credit proposals and internal/ external credit rating documents to monitor the client's credit performance. - Collaborated with ERNST & YOUNG (HONG KONG) LIMITED (EY) to help reduce carbon emission of daily bank operations

- Facilitated the setting of weekly events, duties include but not limited to filling out event approval forms, ordering food, crafts, brainstorming fun activities/ icebreakers, advertising and managing the budget. - Collaborated with other school organisations with joint events and hosted at least 2 joint club events per semester. - Hosted more than 30 events within the school year, 10 events per semester and each event had around 30-40 attendees.

- Taught and assisted 6 elementary school students in using an online designing software Artsteps. - Cultivated students' development in various aspects such as collaboration, communication and self-directed learning. - Developed great mentorship and collaborative skills when working with elementary school students.
