Ryan is a Board-Certified Hyperbaric Technologist and experienced 911 EMT with a proven track record in clinical operations, patient safety, and compliance-driven care within the hyperbaric and wound management space. With over nine years in hyperbaric medicine and seven years in wound care, Ryan brings a unique blend of clinical insight and technical expertise. He specializes in the safe operation, oversight, and maintenance of Class A hyperbaric systems, while remaining actively engaged in direct patient care. His role bridges both clinical and technical domains—ensuring system integrity and strict adherence to regulatory standards, while also supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. This dual focus allows Ryan to prioritize safety without compromising compassion, consistently optimizing workflows to support meaningful, patient-centered outcomes. Since March 2022, Ryan has served as Hyperbaric Safety Director for the Northern Westchester Hyperbaric Medicine Department. In this role, he leads all safety, compliance, and risk mitigation initiatives, including policy development, staff education, equipment inspection protocols, and internal audits. He ensures continuous alignment with NFPA 99, ASME-PVHO, UHMS, and Joint Commission codes and standards. He also collaborates cross-functionally to reduce operational downtime, streamline care delivery, and proactively manage safety infrastructure. Ryan’s approach combines real-time situational awareness with forward-thinking strategy—ensuring the department not only meets but consistently exceeds regulatory expectations, all while keeping patient well-being at the center of every decision.
