Played as Team Lead in a virtual team which consisted of 5 people coming from different function teams including QA and Dev. What we do was to research the automation testing framework and develop the web-based assistant system to improve the productivity to write the automation test script. The system includes two parts, one is to extract the API from automation framework(C#), and another one is to provide the information with web portal via search engine(Java Spring). I worked as team lead and the routine work was to organize the project plan and control the project schedule. However, since we are from different function teams, so it’s difficult to process the project management in such a team, but thanks God that we all get what we want in the team.
