I was responsible for liaising with international students and voicing their concerns with other members of the society. I helped to organise and run events within the hall.

At the forefront of customer relations both on the checkouts and on the shop floor. Working in a warehouse arranging products in a logistical fashion. Money handling skills on the checkouts. Working in a team to fulfill targets and to provide the best service possible.

I was involved with the Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) for the Engineering Department. My role as an SSLC rep was to provide feedback from the students to the department and suggest improvements which could be made. I was also responsible for communicating the points made within the meetings and sharing them with the students.

Use of CNC milling machines to produce aluminium actuators for high performance cars. Present in management meetings and had to communicate ideas to other employees. Computer modelling and prototype development for fuel rail of Nissan GTR.

Working independently in a large warehouse constructing flat-pack kitchen furniture. Use of machines to make the carcasses. Receiving and sorting of deliveries. Installation of appliances and cupboards on building sites.

Created house elevations and models using the computer programs Vectorworks and Google SketchUp. Involved in discussions between the client, the civil engineering, the architect, and the electrical engineer on a site visit. Working independently in an office environment.

Development of new Visual Basic applications for The Kitchen Broker which can be used to compare prices of kitchen appliances by certain criteria, and a quotation application which can be used to create initial quotation estimates for a customer for kitchen carcasses and doors. Helped decrease the time from half an hour to under five minutes. Basic office duties such as answering phones, helping customers, taking deliveries, paperwork duties.

Exchange year abroad at Monash University, Melbourne. Richardson Hall Society International Representative. 10 months living in Melbourne and 1 month living in Sydney. Had the opportunity to travel Australian East Coast during the summer break. Activities and Societies: Monash Boardriders, Monash Photography Club, Richardson Hall Society.
