I have an array of schooling experience that would qualify me as a jack-of-all trades. Anything in the industrial technology field or entry level engineering fields would fit me perfectly. My vast background of working with metals, wood, heavy machinery, and corrosive chemicals should put me at the front-running of candidacy when it comes to working in a factory-like setting. In addition, while working as a laboratory technician at Illinois State University, I learned the most important facet in the industrial field. That is safety. At Illinois State, I studied a wide range of classes that enhanced my creative side. I also geared myself more towards tool and machine based classes. Being hands on and mobile are very important to me. I was a classroom technician who assisted the professor in grading opinions and was available for student help. During this time I also had a fantastic metal-work sales that far surpassed everyone's expectations. I sold two pieces for over $550.00. I graduated with a Bachelor in Science, and a minor in Industrial Technology. Activities and Societies: I was a TA for the metal lab. I was the only student who had the expertise to run the metal lab without incident. There are gas tanks, torches, corrosive liquids, and other dangers that can only be supervised with a trained assistant. In addition, during my own studio time, I kept the lab open for students so they could get even more help with their projects. I always felt that if you want to do something, why should time limits dictate your education?
