Incoming Analyst on the Personal and Commercial Credit Technology team for Winter 2026. IBM Z Student Ambassador at Wilfrid Laurier University Previous experience includes 2 co-op terms as a Technical Systems Analyst at RBC, on the mainframe operating systems team, and the credit system services team. As well as over 1 and a half years as a Systems Administrator for the computing councils of Canada, a non profit organization, a project manager for the Laurier computing society, and a software developer for the Laurier Financial Technology club. Pursuing a career in software and management, focusing on solutions, architecture, and mainframe. Having completed IBM badges such as ‘z/OS Architecture - Experienced’, ‘Assembler Programming for IBM Z - Experienced’ and ‘JCL Programming for IBM Z’ and many others. Having a very complete knowledge of IBM’s Z architecture systems from a variety of different perspectives. Fluent in JCL, REXX, CLIST and COBOL for mainframe application development and systems programming. In my time at RBC I have picked up knowledge on software engineering, deployment, and development life cycles as a whole. As well as extensive mainframe knowledge on applications, systems administration, job scheduling and networks. And of course, priceless business knowledge of how Canada’s largest bank runs their operations, and how to thrive in a complex financial landscape. Finally, I am pursuing an MBA and aiming to merge the two worlds of software and business, in a way to make mainframe stronger and more prominent then ever.
