About
Greetings, I am Ryan Biazzo, and I was formerly a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy. My position required me to be a competent operator of steam and reactor plant machinery, to monitor and adjust plant setpoints, and to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on said mechanical systems. This position also involved work with industrial liquid cooling systems, as well as HVAC related systems. My current position is as a calibration technician for Submarine Squadron 11, which oversees the calibration program for over 5 submarines. This position required me to be proficient in computer database navigation, data entry, and Microsoft Excel. This position is still through the Navy, and has allowed me to gain experience and work alongside civilian contractors. In addition to my primary occupation I own and operate an e-commerce business called FiteLight Holsters. My business manufactures and sells custom dip can and flashlight holsters marketed toward military and security personnel. This project has given me experience in web design, CAD (fusion 360, blender, solid works), and online marketing. I also have around 6 years of experience with recreational 3d printing, to include operation and maintenance of machines, as well as material storage and handling practices. I am currently enrolled in Thomas Edison State University for a bachelors of science in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology, and am projected to finish my degree in June 2026. I am interested in working near Dallas and Fort Worth, TX in operator or technician roles. I am looking for around $30-35 an hour or equivalent salary, and I am willing to work rotating shifts, and nights.
