• I led the electrical and software design (schematics, architecture, and drivers) of a new drone outfitted with new sensors from design to fabrication to testing. • I sourced and integrated COTS parts to speed up the time spent prototyping and wrote new tools for test analysis to allow test engineers in addition to the aerodynamics team to analyze test results. • The recorded data allowed for the performance analysis of new mechanical parts and the development of more accurate simulation models.

• I solved design and assembly issues during board bringup, including tracking down a misconfigured IC causing the board to draw 10x current in idle. • I created layouts with Allegro and revised schematics in OrCAD after validating the behavior of critical replacement parts in SPICE • I ported embedded code to FreeRTOS after replacing an STM processor with an ESP processor.
